An important message from our General manager

April 2nd, 2020

Dear Customers,

On behalf of the entire Man O’ War team, we hope you are all safe and healthy in these difficult times. It goes without saying that we are currently experiencing something in our history that very few living today have ever experienced. Safety is our #1 value here, and the safety of you, our valued customer, and the Man O’ War team is at the forefront of everything we do. Therefore in response to the recent request from President Trump along with current government guidelines, Man O’ War Harley-Davidson will be temporarily closing business at the end of business on Friday April 3rd at 6:00pm. We will be reevaluating the situation on April 17th with the hopes to resume business on Tuesday April 21st.

As many of you have heard social distancing is the best weapon we have to fight against this enemy that has threatened our livelihood. Socially distancing yourself on the back of a motorcycle on a country backroad is about the most fun way I can imagine help fight the fight. Take advantage of this as much as you can.

Say a prayer for all the healthcare workers and first responders who put themselves in harm’s way each and every day for our well-being and care. They are the true heroes and warriors out there. It takes tremendous courage and strength to do what they do, and they need our prayer, support, and encouragement.

Lastly, I apologize for any hardships this puts on you during these trying times. The health and safety of my employees and our customers has been, and will continue to be, my #1 priority. We will be working nonstop behind closed doors to continue to deliver our services wherever and however possible and will be preparing ourselves for that upcoming day when we can throw open our doors and welcome you with open arms. There is no doubt God will get us through this, until then let’s do our part and stay safe. We’ll be back on the road in no time!

God bless, stay safe, and just keep ridin’,

Josh Bentley

A letter to our wonderful Man O’ War H-D customers regarding the COVID-19;

March 16th, 2020

Please be advised that Man O’ War Harley-Davidson has taken the following precautions to ensure that our employees have been educated and our dealership is clean and sanitary.

  • Employees have all been educated on the guidelines provided by the CDC, WHO, and Kentucky Department of Health in regards to the COVID-19, and the precautions that should be taken.
  • We have increased our on-site cleaning procedures and schedule to ensure all areas are cleaned and disinfected prior to business open, after business close of day, and on 30-minute intervals for high traffic areas.
  • We have invested in additional hand sanitizers to have available at every register.
  • We have purchased additional hand soap dispensers.
  • Employees will “fist bump” or “elbow tap” instead of shaking hands.
  • Employees will enforce social distancing with our guests by maintaining 6 feet of distance when interacting face-to-face.
  • All employees that fall into high-risk category will be given the option to stay home with pay.

Please be patient with us if we seem a little short staffed. We are giving our employees with children the option of taking time away from work to assist with caregiving in the face of daycare and school closings.

We are truly blessed to live in a community and state that genuinely cares for its neighbors, friends, and family. We are doing everything in our power to stay true to those values first and foremost.Safety is our primary value and everything we do revolves around that commitment.Your personal health and safety are more important to me than your business. If you are in a high-risk health category, for your own safety please stay home.If your business cannot wait we can make special arrangements to accommodate your safety. For service department needs we can provide free pick-up and delivery of your bike. For any over-the-counter purchases if you call ahead of time we can walk them out to your vehicle. For any bike purchase inquiries we are available for one-on-one after-business-hours appointments.

Lastly, and not to make light of a very serious situation, I have received word from healthcare professionals that you have zero risk of contracting the virus while cruising on your Harley-Davidson.Riding down our beautiful countryside backroads can give you everything you need to get through this trying time: fresh air, social distancing, and relief of all worries and stress.
